I wonder why most of the time, women that have naturally curly hair are generally thought of as not as appealing and even less attractive than women that have long or straight hairstyle?
Most of the men I know definitely prefer long hair on girls and not short hair and not many like girls with curly hair but seem to prefer straight hair.

A good method to use for styling curly hair is one developed by a hair stylist called Lorraine Massey called Curly Girl (CG) – by nature curly hair is moisture deprived so the first concept behind CG is no more shampooing hair or using hair product that can only be removed from your hair with shampoo. most shampoos contain sulfates which means you may aswell be washing your hair with dishwashing liquid. Many people with curly hair that use this method find that their hair is soft bouncy and frizz free.

Alma paste is great for helping maintain your natural curl. If you find that your curls have loosened or the your have some straighter bits in your hair try applying alma paste to your hair to bring the curls back.

A while back I was using henna in my hair which was great because it made my hair so soft and with great subtle color change. But after a few uses I noticed my curls slackening, especially from the roots and at the front of my head.

I have really tight curly hair kinda like Shakira! Too make bigger looser curls in my hair i usually tie my hair in a bun when its damp and after it dries I let it out and my curls look much bigger.

I have a tip for curly hair! My hair tends to get ever more dryer and fuzzier during the winter months and it seems as though the hair products that work well on my hair during the summer have no effect on it in winter I think most people just buy one hair product and expect it to just work forever but it doesn’t. So for me and my tight curly fuzzy hair I have to use hair products that are more heavily moisture based in winter.
