The Fringe Bang!
There is no denying that women are getting a hair style with a bang! in other words, the fringe is in! Kate Moss did it and hordes followed. The smooth, sleek and blunt bang from the sixties is what girls are going for. If you don't have silky straight hair keeping a fringe under control can be a bit of a nightmare, but that can be easily fixed with a blow dryer and round brush or a ceramic hair straightener .
This gallery has images of many celebs with hairstyle bangs, but I have included many other images so there is a versatile range to choose from for your next trip to the hairdressers.
1 commentLayered Hairstyles
Layers in your hair can be used to balance out very thin or very thick hair, giving it a more textured, shapely look with more volume and movement.
Ask for long graduated layers that blend effortlessly into a sweeping fringe with flicked out ends and a nice side parting. Alternatively a nice blunt fringe (bang) and middle part can also work wonders with this hairstyle.
Layers are great for any hair length from short to very long hair; it helps break the monotony of very long hair, giving it movement. It is great for those with curly hair as it helps give bounce to the curls and a great shape. It is equally as good a look for straight hairstyles!
Enjoy the image gallery where I have included many hairstyle images of all different types of hair layers. Hopefully you will find your new hairstyle among one of those.
5 commentsEmo Hair for Boys
Emo is a subculture of punk. Like all good subcultures it has gone beyond its emotional musical core to dictate a whole lifestyle which includes a certain way to dress, act and most important to this blog - way of doing your hair!
So this is a post for the emo boys, but any guy really as I think the emo hairstyle is very cool. I have included many Emo Band images for your viewing pleasure and who knows, you may just find your new mens hairstyle amongst one of these musos. Now some of you may not consider some band I put up here as Emo, fair enough - you may not consider that to be the case - but what we are looking at here is hairstyles. Emo, Screamo and post-hardcore mens hairstyles at that.
My definition of the emo boy hair style is: shorter in the back with a longer angled fringe (bang) in the front with a chunky bleached section in it. Obviously it varies from person to person. You get longer variations of the style and in many different colours.
Enjoy!
